Lesson in Marketing: You Sure Your Team Doesn’t Want To Get Rich Quick?
Everyone SAYS they don’t want to be in a “get rich quick” scam.
Everyone “says” they’re willing to do the work and “sacrifice”.
UNTIL they get punched in the face.
Until their first campaign doesn’t do as well as they thought.
Until they keep losing money on ads.
Now…
Now things have changed.
Now they actually do want to get rich quick.
They said they didn’t but in fact, they did.
This break in mental congruence is what keeps people broke.
When you “say” you don’t want to get rich quick but keep changing strategies, blaming others or getting angry when you don’t get immediate results…
Things just don’t line up.
Burn this in your mind - Your SKILLS are what sets you free.
NOT the course, not the upline, NOT THE OPPORTUNITY.
Including mine.

But the opportunity is only part of the battle. The strategies are only part of it.

Lesson in Network Marketing: Set Expectations - The most frustrating part of network marketing is without a doubt trying to drag people across the finish line.
They told YOU they wanted to be successful yet make nothing but excuses when it’s time to put the rubber to the road.
You spend countless hours doing work for them or motivating them only to find out that when you’re gone… they’re about as good as dead.
It’s even worse that when you’re talking to a bunch of people and no one is getting in…
Are people just that messed up? Is network marketing really that hard?
No.
The quality and speed of the team is determined by one thing and one thing only.
The leader.
If your team is awesome, it’s in part because YOU are awesome.
If your team is not, well…
So how to fix it?
Set proper expectations.
Did you think you’d have more money than you do right now?
If I asked your 10 year younger self how much money you’d have right now, would they say more or less than is in your account right now?
I think most of us would unanimously say “less”.
We almost always think the future will be brighter than it is when it comes to our earnings and ability to save.
And most people spend money based on where they think they’ll be next year rather than playing it safe.
Unfortunately, making more money doesn’t fix this problem. It just speeds it up.
More money does NOT do anything to your long term stability in most cases.
It just magnifies you.
So, if you’re really good at spending everything you make, you’ll still be good at it with 10x the money.
If you’ve never made a lot of money, I know you don’t believe me. But I’m asking you to. Don’t think you’re smarter than the thousands of entrepreneurs (many of which I personally know) who made 7 and 8 figures only to be left with basically nothing a few years later.
That’s why we need to set up systems to KEEP our money once we make it.
This is the achilles heel of successful business owners.
